Jamshedpur: Saryu Roy hosts Ramarcha Puja at Baridih

Jamshedpur, July 3: Ramarcha Puja was organized at MLA Saryu Roy’s office in Baridih. The puja commenced in the morning with MLA as the chief host. Over 150 women, BJM party workers, and supporters also attended the puja. The priests conducting the puja informed that the annual religious event takes place on the auspicious day of Guru Purnima.

The puja was performed in five forms of deity, emphasizing the significance of taking and distributing prasad (holy offering) which yields greater results than mere worship. This puja is believed to conquer all three types of suffering and fulfill the four goals of life: Artha (wealth), Dharma (righteousness), Kama (desires), and Moksha (liberation).

During the puja, 33 deities, including Lord Rama and his family, were worshiped. The ceremony concluded at 4:30 PM after the havan (sacred fire ritual). Priest Gauri Kanth Thakur, local priest Vinod Pandey, Dhanji Pandey, and other priests performed the rituals. BJM party workers, supporters, dignitaries, devotees, participated in the religious programme.

On the following day, the first day of Sawan (a Hindu month dedicated to Lord Shiva), Rudrabhishek (ceremonial offering to Lord Shiva) will be held at the Baridih office on July 4 morning. Prasad distribution will begin at 12:30 PM and continue until 11 PM.

Dharmendra Tiwari, Shailendra Singh, Gurdeep Singh Pappu, Ram Narayan Sharma, Subodh Srivastava, Shiv Shankar Singh, Kavita Parmar, Manju Singh, Uday Singhdev, Vijay Mahato, Arun Singh, Ravindra Singh, Munna Singh, Jagannath Sahi, Hareram Singh, Sudhir Singh, along with office bearers and workers of Bhajmo Pradesh, District, and Mandal, as well as hundreds of people from different areas of Bihar and Jharkhand, were present during the religious program.
