Jamshedpur, May 16: The online tender for three sand ghats to be held on Tuesday in East Singhbhum district was cancelled by deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav. In this regard, District Mining Officer Sanjay Kumar Sharma said that online tender was to be opened on Tuesday for the settlement of three sand ghats in the district.
The sand ghats which were to be settled include Bankata Balu Ghat, Korea Mohanpal and Korea Mohanpal Subarnarekha River Ghat.
But the bidding rate was much less than the government fixed rate of Rs.83 per MQ. Due to this the tender was canceled by the Deputy Commissioner.
