Jamshedpur Run witnesses overwhelming response


Jamshedpur, Aug. 27 :With over 1300 participants, Jamshedpur Run 2017 turned out to be a monumental success that
witnessed a higher number of contestants than the previous 7 editions in the steel city on the 27th of August. XLRI

Jamshedpur’s wing of CII Yi, in close association with the core team of Ensemble-Valhalla, the coveted B-school’s annual fest that is set to take place from the 9th to the 12th of November, managed to pull off an event that saw
partakers from every possible age group and occupation competing in a spirit that portrayed their passion for the city.

Chapter graced the occasion as the chief guests and flagged off the The victors of Jamshedpur Run 2017 in
the men and women categories were college students Khela Sorenand Pooja Kumari respectively, who put their strength and perseveranceon display to positions from each category were provided with cash prizes and certificates of merit along with the other participants receiving T-shirts, participation certificates and refreshments during he course of the marathon.

The theme for the event was “Run For Jamshedpur” and meticulous efforts were taken by both the
organizers and the participants to make sure that the city’s status and values were upheld by ensuring the absence of littering or any sort of hindrance to the public or to the public properties.

School children from 28 schools, college students, corporate executives and XLRI faculties came together to make the event a success on all fronts.
