Jamshedpur, March 30: Bistupur police sent the driver of a courier van, Udai Sao, to jail for knocking several vehicles and causing the death of one person near Tata Main Hospital roundabout.
One Sunil Kumar Sharma died while his friend Rohit Kumar was critically injured after the said van hit their vehicles yesterday. The van driver was reportedly driving recklessly at high speed. Several vehicles were damaged in the incident.
Irked over the incident, a mob caught Udai Sao and thrashed him before handing him over to police.
