Jamshedpur Road Accident: 6 killed, 2 injured as car collides with divider in CH Area

Jamshedpur: Six youth were killed and two seriously injured in a tragic road accident on the first day of the new year in Jamshedpur on early Monday morning.

Accoring to police, high-speed car collided with divider near Sai Temple roundabout in the Circuit House area under the jurisdiction of Bistupur police station.

The accident occurred around 5 am on Monday, resulting in the demise of six individuals in the car.

The car, traveling at an incredible speed, first collided with the divider on the side of the road, then crashed into a metal pole and eventually hit a tree. The impact was so forceful that it shattered the electric pole, and the car’s wreckage was scattered.

All six occupants, young individuals, were trapped in the mangled car. The police, reaching the scene, managed to extract them.
It has been reported that a total of eight people were in the car. Five of them lost their lives on the spot, while one succumbed to injuries at the MGM Hospital. The injured have been admitted to TMH for treatment.
The deceased include Monu Mahato from Adityapur Babakuti, Hemant Singh, Suraj, Tittu, Chhotu Yadav, and another unidentified person.
Among the injured are Harsh Jha and Ravi Shankar Jha.
Ravi Shankar’s father, Sunil Jha, who arrived at TMH, mentioned that all the youngsters were celebrating New Year’s Eve in front of their homes.
After a lively Litti party on Sunday night, they set out towards Bistupur for more fun, and the tragic accident occurred, leaving their families in shock.
