Jamshedpur, July 20: Youth Congress state secretary, Rakesh Sahu had demanded the revocation of the stricture of presenting ID related documents for permission to enter the Jubilee Park. In a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner, Rakesh claimed that the Jubilee Park was for the people and as such, entry should not be restricted. “Noting names, addresses and mobile numbers in camera should serve the purpose. Seeking ID papers is a whim of Tata Steel autocrats and if this rule is not withdrawn, the Youth Congress will be forced to launch an agitation.” The other members of the YC delegation included Indrajit Ghosh, Munna Yadav, Rahul Kumar, Bablu Kumar and others.
