Jamshedpur, Sept 2: People living behind Sidhgora police station met Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Rai on Friday night. Mostly from poor families thaty told the MLA that they have been living behind Sidhgora police station for years. Now the building construction department has ordered them to vacate the land.
A new building of Sidhgora police station will be constructed there. Earlier, coal of Tata Steel used to be stored on the said land. They all used to work there. Later the coal shed was closed, but they have been living there by building huts.
MLA Saryu Rai assured to put their demands in front of the administrative officials and assured to make arrangements for their stay by building a house at some vacant place nearby.
