Jamshedpur, May 13: One Mohammad Chand was attacked with sharp weapons by unidentified persons in Jugsalai on Friday. He was taken to MGM Hospital where his condition was reportedly out of danger.
Police said Chand was found in injured condition by his friends near the railway tracks close to Garib Nawaz Colony under Jugsalai police station area. He was taken to his wife Hina who took him to hospital. The incident took place around 10 pm, police said.
Cops said Chand was frequently changing his statement and was not fully revealing the facts related to the assault. Chand reportedly told cops two persons attacked him by taking advantage of darkness.
