Jamshedpur, Jan. 2: No COVID-19 death has been reported in the East Singhbhum district in the last 26 days as the death toll remains at 374. Active cases have also crossed 220 mark in the district.
On Saturday, East Singhbhum district reported 20 corona positive cases while 22 people recovered of the virus.
The new positives in Jamshedpur took the Coronavirus tally to 17648. 22 people recovered of the virus on Saturday taking the total recovery to 17048 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 226.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 175724 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97% while the mortality rate is 2.1 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 471240 samples have been collected out of which 461314 have been tested and 443729 have turned out to be negative.
