Jamshedpur, July 20: The daily positive case count in Jamshedpur fell to record low during the second wave on Tuesday.
Jamshedpur reported 2 positive cases on Tuesday while zero death was recorded. The new Covid-19 cases are lowest in 161 days in Jamshedpur. Earlier three cases were reported on February 9, 2021.
On Tuesday, one case each was reported from Jugsalai and Parsudih.
The new positives in Jamshedpur took the Coronavirus tally to 51745.
8 people recovered of the virus on Tuesday taking the total recovery to 50647 while total active cases in Jamshedpur is 44.
Of the 44 patients still undergoing treatment for the coronavirus in the district, most are in home isolation, while some are being treated at care centres and hospitals.
As many as 8 people recovered from the virus on Tuesday taking the overall recoveries to 50647 which accounts for a recovery rate of 97.88%.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 439829 tests per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97.88% while the mortality rate is 2.04 %.
