Jamshedpur-Ranchi NH-33 loot gang busted, 4 arrested

Jamshedpur, July 27: Chandil police has succeeded in busting the gang of robbers who used to loot travellers on Jamshedpur -Ranchi NH-33 by flashing fake pistol and had committed more than six loots in a span of two months. 
Police has arrested four looters who were involved in the loot incidents including the incident on July 11 wherein a truck driver was looted along NH-33 and recovered fake pistol, 11 mobiles, and two bikes used in the loot. 
All the accused were sent to judicial custody on Tuesday. The arrested looters included, Ramjan Sah,  Javed Sah, Mohammed Mustaq Ansari (all from Millatnagar under Kapali TOP) and Sonu of Ranchi. 

According to Chandil SDPO, Sanjay Kumar Siingh, the gang had assaulted the driver of a truck whose vehicle had technical snag on July 11 and snatched away cash and two mobiles from the driver showing fake pistol and knives. Soon after getting information Chandil police formed a mobile and nabbed the accused on a tip off while they were planning to take part in another loot ffrom near Kanderbera.
