Jamshedpur-Ranchi-Dhanbad express way gets cabinet’s nod

Ranchi, May 19: Jharkhand Government approved the proposal to build Dhanbad-Jamshedpur-Ranchi Express Way on Public Private Partnership (PPP) Mode.

At the Council of Ministers meeting headed by CM Raghuvar Das held at Project Bhawan in Ranchi on Tuesday the theoretical proposal was cleared were 13 suggestions were agreed upon.

After the meeting Cabinet Secretary SK Sathpathy said that for the upcoming Express Way project in the
state Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation (IDFC) have been appointed to manage the transactions.

Earlier during the Budget, CM Das had announced the construction of Express Way.

Six-lane golden triangle expressway would cater to high-speed traffic. At the meet post creation of 56 Male Gram Rojgar Sevak and 37 women Gram Rojgar Sevak for 56 Village of Saranda were approved.

State’s three Ramkrishan Mission (Jamshedpur’s Bistupur, Ranchi’s Divyapan and Tupudana) were cleared off VAT on purchase.

Approval was also provided to clear VAT on purchase- sell at Army Canteen, CRPF and Police Canteen.

Approval was provided to CAG Report (31 March 2014) presented in Assembly while amendments to rules of Jharkhand State Fire Service Code was also permitted.

In another important decision suggestion for nine new post creations for CM’s Camp office in Jamshedpur was also cleared were one Additional Collector, two assistants, one data entry operator and one fourth grade employee are included.

Approval was also given to appoint Ranjana Devi in place of her late husband Mukesh Tiwary as an employee on basis of sympathy.
