Jamshedpur, June 18: BJP Sonari Mandal President Prashant Kumar Poddar led a delegation and handed a memorandum to the Junior Engineer of the Electricity Department, Rajwade seeking a solution to the prevailing truncated power supply in Sonari. Prashant Poddar warned that after handing over memorandum, if the erratic power supply problem was not resolved soon, BJP Sonari Mandal would be compelled to launch a fierce agitation.
Senior BJP leader Neeraj Singh said, “Even after getting the memorandum if the Electricity Department does not take immediate action to rectify and regularize power supply in Sonari, we will lock the Department’s gates and not pay the electricity bills.”
The Junior Engineer assured the BJP Sonari delegation that the power problem would be resolved at the earliest. Narayan Prasad, Kishore Sahu, Shambhu Kumar Ram, Sanjay Rajak, Satyendra Singh Yadav, Bharat Bhushan, Krishna Yadav, Shankar Singh and others were present during handing over of the memorandum.
