Jamshedpur police launch foot march to enhance security in Mango area

Jamshedpur, Dec 5: In a proactive move to address rising concerns about criminal incidents, the Jamshedpur Police initiated a foot march in the Mango area on Tuesday. Led by SSP Kishore Kaushal, the foot march included the participation of DSP, Mango police station in-charge, and other dedicated policemen. The march commenced from Dimna Road, traversed Munshi Mohalla, proceeded via Gurudwara Road, and concluded near Mango Bridge.

As part of the ongoing efforts to combat increasing criminal activities, the Jamshedpur Police have introduced foot patrolling in various city areas. This initiative involves weekly foot patrols conducted by police officers in specific police station areas. Police personnel, led by officers, engage in foot patrolling across different parts of the designated police station area, aiming to foster trust among the community and contribute to crime prevention.

SSP Kishore Kaushal highlighted the daily crime meetings initiated by DSP, where the work of all police personnel is thoroughly reviewed. The foot patrolling, a significant component of crime control, is set to be implemented across all police stations in the region.
