Jamshedpur Police foot march to instill confidence in Jugsalai

Jamshedpur, November 29: Police marched on foot under the leadership of East Singhbhum SSP Kishore Kaushal in Jugsalai on Wednesday to stop crime.

During this, the SSP insisted the traders to install CCTV cameras at their establishments. He also called for cooperation with the administration in maintaining peace. On Wednesday evening, under the leadership of SSP, the police started a foot march from Veer Kunwar Singh Chowk and ended near Jugsalai railway gate.

City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, ASP Sumit Kumar Aggarwal, DSP, Jugsalai police station in-charge Kunal Kumar along with police officers and soldiers were included in the foot march.

During the march, the SSP called upon the traders to cooperate with the administration to stop crime and said that foot patrolling has been started by the police with the aim of curbing criminal incidents, eliminating the fear of criminals among the people and reducing the distance between the common people and the police.

Involvement of senior police officers not only increases the confidence of the policemen but also gives the people an opportunity to connect with the police. He said that people of the society also need to be active to control crime. Competent people must install CCTV cameras at every intersection. If any kind of illegal activity is seen in your area, then inform the police immediately, the police will take immediate action on the said information.
