Jamshedpur: In a breakthrough, Bistupur police raided the Dhanbad police line and arrested Salman Khan in connection with kidnapping and firing. After arresting him, the police returned to Jamshedpur late in the evening. The accused’s mother Sangeeta Khalkho is posted in the traffic police at Saraidhela, Dhanbad. The relatives have accused police of implicating Salman in a false case and assaulting the daughter.
Police have taken him into custody at MGM police station. Police are also trying to recover the weapon used by him in the firing incident. On July 3, Salman was released from Ghaghidih Central Jail on bail. He also has a house in Agrico and his father is a Tata Steel employee.
