Jamshedpur, Dec 24: Wary of the rising Covid deaths in China and apprehending its spillover across borders, city people here are heading to various vaccination centres to get the precautionary anti-Covid booster doses. The panic could be gauged at the very sight of a crowd queued outside the Keenan Stadium to get the booster shot.
Sources said people have started coming to the vaccine centre situated on one corner of the stadium. However, only Covaxin boosters are available at the centre, sources said.
Everyday around 200 people are coming to the centre which has all three doses of Covaxin. Covishield booster doses are yet to be supplied across vaccine centres, sources said.
