Jamshedpur, June 22: A meeting was held today at the Mahal Inn auditorium in the Azad Nagar Police Station area, bringing together members of the Azad Nagar Police Station Peace Committee and the Imams of local mosques. The meeting, chaired by DSP Sumit of the Patamda circle, aimed to discuss preparations for the upcoming festival of Eid-ul-Juha Bakrid. Notable attendees included Rakesh Kumar, the in-charge of Azad Nagar police station, Chandan Kumar, the Exam Executive Officer of Mango Municipal Corporation, Rahul Kumar, the City Manager of Mango Municipal Corporation, Anisur Rahman, the Imam of MO Academy, and the Imam of Mehndi Masjid.

The proceedings were led by Mukhtar Alam Khan, the brand ambassador of Mango Municipal Corporation and secretary of the Peace Committee. The meeting emphasized the importance of maintaining peace during the festival. Imam Anisur Rahman of MO Academy Madinatul Oloom Masjid expressed that only permissible animals should be sacrificed in accordance with the laws of India, such as goats, sheep, or similar animals, while the sacrifice of any banned animals should be strictly avoided.
Chandan Kumar, the Executive Officer of the Municipal Corporation, advised that the remains of the sacrificial animals should be disposed of only in designated areas marked by the Municipal Corporation. This measure aims to prevent the spread of dirt and maintain cleanliness in the surroundings.
DSP Sumit Kumar reminded everyone of the importance of celebrating the festival with unity and brotherhood. He expressed his hope that Eid-ul-Juha Bakrid would be celebrated this year with utmost cleanliness and harmony. Special forces will be deployed throughout the area to ensure a safe and controlled environment during the festivities. Several individuals attended the program, including Sheikh Badruddin, Sardar Jaswant Singh, Moinuddin Ansari, Shahid Parvez, Tahir Hussain, Master Siddiqui, Haji Firoz Aslam, Haji Abdul Hafiz, Abrar Alam, Azad Ansari, Master Seraj, Farzana Safi, and Siddiq Ali.
