Jamshedpur passport facility broadened, SCCI welcomes MEA decision 

Jamshedpur, August 5: The Passport Seva Kendra established at Jamshedpur Head Post Office has increased the capacity to produce passports every day. 

Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry has welcomed the Ministry of External Affairs decision in this regard. Chamber president Vijay Anand Moonka and secretary Manav Kedia told that Singhbhum Chamber was constantly striving for it as Jamshedpur city which has its qualifications at par with Smart City with population is in lakhs and the number of people going abroad to study from here, people with jobs abroad, businessmen doing business from abroad and business activities etc. The masses were facing problems and there was a demand to increase its number to 200. Now the capacity has been increased from 60 to 90 passports per day. President 

They said that the chamber would continue to make efforts to increase its number further to increase its old demand of producing 200 passports per day and would request the Ministry of External Affairs for the same.
