Jamshedpur: Parents accuse Sacred Heart Convent School principal of misbehaviour

Jamshedpur, June 12: On Monday, wife Durba Chatterjee along with Atanu Bangmas along with the guardian association has reached Bistupur police station to meet the police station in-charge.

They alleged misbehaviour  by the principal of the Sacred Heart Convent School.  They claimed that Adrija Bangmas, a student of Sacred Heart Convent School, is being given transfer certificate  from the school.

When they decided to meet the school faculty they were asked to meet principal of the school. After which the parents came to meet the principal of the school. They explained that their daughter was studying in class four  in the session 2022-23. But she got typhoid. After which, the co-ordinator of the school, Sister Meera, had advised her daughter to stay at home and be completely healthy, citing infection of the disease to another child in the school.

After this her daughter became healthy, then her parents went to meet the co-ordinator. Then the co-ordinator said that most of the school studies were over, so they should send the girl to school from the next session. On the other hand, when the girl was kept in the same class in the new session, the parents reached the school, they wanted to talk to the co-ordinator. Then the sister started evasive and asked to talk to the principal.

They accused the principal of misbehaving with them after asking them to take transfer certificate for their daughter to other school. They demanded lodging of FIR against the principal.
