Jamshedpur Panchayat polls: Leaves of government employees cancelled

Jamshedpur, April 13: District Returning Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum Vijaya Jadhav has cancelled the leaves of all employees of the district collectorate, child development project offices and sub divisional, block and circle offices on 14^th, 15^th, 17^th and 24^th day of April and 1^st, 3^rd, 8^th, 15^th, 16^th, 22^nd and 29^th day of May this year in view of upcoming Panchayat polls in the state. Compensatory off will be given to all such government employees, said an office notification issued in this regard on Wednesday.

In special circumstances, the government employees will leave their headquarters concerned only after seeking permission from the DC. The DC has asked all office heads of the district to provide an update list of newly deputed employees for deployment during panchayat polls.
