Jamshedpur: As per the instructions of District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal, ESCROW accounts are being opened in camp mode to expedite the benefits of the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana for beneficiaries. Over the past two days, the Welfare Department has opened 44 accounts, the Dairy Development Department has facilitated the opening of accounts for 67 beneficiaries, and the Animal Husbandry Department has managed 555 accounts.
Mittal has urged departments to achieve their targets promptly, noting the growing interest among rural farmers and animal husbandry workers in livestock as an alternative income source. This interest has led to increased activities in cow, pig, goat, duck, and poultry farming. The Chief Minister’s Pashudhan Vikas Yojana aims to unify various livestock development schemes under the Animal Husbandry, Welfare, and Rural Development Departments on a single platform.
Strict instructions have been given to animal suppliers to ensure the distribution of animals and their insurance immediately after opening the ESCROW accounts. This integrated approach is expected to streamline the process and provide timely benefits to the beneficiaries, fostering sustainable development in the livestock sector.
