Jamshedpur, Jan 24: Tata Steel Sports Department organised Inter Division Carrom Tournament on January 23-24, 2023 at JRD Tata Sports Complex.
Total 70 players representing 15 teams participated in the tourney. Closing ceremony of the meet was attended by Hemant Gupta, Head Adventure Programme & Sports, L Nageshwar Rao, Karate Coach, Dinesh Rakshit, Assistant Manager Sports and Olympian Anand Menezes, Senior Coach Athletics TFA & Sports.
In Men category the winner was OMQ (Ore Mines & Quarries Division) (A) team while runners-up were Wire Tarapore. Shared Services Team held third position.
In Women’s category, OMQ team was adjudged winner while Flat Products was declared second and team of ISWPL (Indian Steel & Wire Products Limited) clinched third position.
