City records 51 positives, 94 recoveries, 1 death
Jamshedpur, June 6: Active Covid-19 cases in the district dropped down to 600 after 94 patients were discharged from hospitals and Covid care centres on Monday. Of the 600 patients still undergoing treatment for the coronavirus in the district, most are in home isolation, while some are being treated at care centres and hospitals.
Meanwhile, Jamshedpur reported 51 new cases, which took its overall tally to 50,610.
More than 3600 were tested on the day. Jamshedpur also recorded 1 death due to the infection as the Steel City continued to recover from the second surge of the coronavirus. Data from the state government’s daily health bulletin showed that the Covid-19 test positivity is 1.38%.City also saw 94 people recover of the virus while it also registered 1 coronavirus-related deaths. The state, too, witnessed a massive fall in infections and fatalities.
The overall death toll in the East Singhbhum has reached 1037 and the total cases 50610. It appears to be early signs that the more dangerous Covid wave is receding from the city.

As per the records of health department out of 3692 people who underwent Covid tests in East Singhbhum 51 were found positive.
Over 3600 COVID-19 tests, including 817 RT-PCR and 2397 RAT were conducted in the last 24 hours in the city.
The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 96.86% while the mortality rate is 2.05%.
So far in Jamshedpur 974670 samples have been collected out of which 967715 have been tested and 917105 have turned out to be negative.
