Jamshedpur, March 15: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari will visit Jamshedpur on 23 March. During this, he will lay the foundation stone of the elevated corridor to be built between Pardih to Dimna Chowk.
The union minister will also lay the foundation stone of other schemes. In this regard, on Wednesday, the minister held talks with Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato.
It is worth mentioning that the elevated corridor will cost about Rs 2000 crores. The tender for the construction of the corridor has been issued. After the talks, Bidyut Mahato said that this will be a historic moment for Jamshedpur. Appreciating the efficiency and administrative capacity of Union Minister Gadkari, he said that the Ranchi Baharagora Highway is his contribution and the proposed corridor is a unique gift for the people of Jamshedpur.
