Jamshedpur: A nine day Ram Katha presentation beginning May 5 will be made by national saint and international Ram Katha preacher Morari Bapu. Ten thousand people will be able to hear the preachings. Among the guests, politicians and top administrative officials will also be present.
Those present during the presentations would learn more about Sri Ram�s character and would be treated to devotional songs in the Sufiana spirit.
The May 5 to May 13 Ram Katha presentation is being organized by Vallabh Youth Organization at Chitrakoot Dham (Gopal Maidan). The organizers for Ram Katha are Darshan Taunk and Dipak Taunk.
The timing for the first day�s (May 5) schedule will be from 4 pm to 7 pm. From May 6 to May 13, the Ram Katha preaching will be conducted between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm.
While providing the details the organizing committee officials informed that the general public will enter the Gopal Maidan from the gate near Tulsi Bhawan while Morari Bapu would use the gate opposite the Muslim Library.
The 50 thousand square feet pandal will accommodate more than 10 thousand listeners who would be able to merge with the aura of Ram Katha and gain divine joy.
At the press conference held today, the organizers informed that The Ram Katha presentations would be telecast live on the Aastha channel. People in 192 countries would be able to see and hear through the live telecast of the nine day event.
A ten member team of �Katha ni Duniya� will be present to record Sri Murari Bapu�s lecture. To provide better audio quality, the sound system has been ordered from Gujarat.
SDO Madhvi Mishra, Traffic DSP Vivekanand Thakur, Bistupur PS OC and administrative officials took stock of the pandal structure and other amenities being arranged for the event. The East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner, DDC, SSP, City SP and other officials are staying informed to ensure that listeners do not face any difficulty.
The organizers have appealed that children below 14 years of age are not brought at the venue, women should not wear gold ornaments, listeners should use public transport as much as possible and if that is not possible, to adopt dropping and pickup modes.
Parking points for vehicles have been arranged at Narbheram Hansraj Gujarati School campus, Muslim Library, the space behind Nataraj Cinema, the Lal Bangla compound and the parking place near Bank of Baroda.
