Jamshedpur, July 19: The Amusement Nicco Park will reopen soon after a span of nearly 16 months.
One of the source of entertainment and attraction of children of the steel city, the park according to officials would be opened for masses on July 21. The park was closed on March 21, 2020.
Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services LImited senior executive Capt Dhananjay Mishra and others visited Nicco Park and saw the arrangements and issued necessary instructions in view of the Covid protocols.
The closure of the amusement park had caused financial hardship for its employees and staff. The park would be opened, as per government orders, to 50 per cent of the visitor’s capacity. The park entry would be from Rabindra Bhavan side and CCTVs are being installed on the entry points and vehicles would have to be parked outside to enter the park. The visitors would be prohibited from entering to Jubilee Park and the timing of the park would be between 11 am to 5 pm.
