Jamshedpur: BJP district general secretary-cum-Jugsalai Vidhan Sabha in-charge Anil Modi, in the course of meeting prominent members of the community today met the former president of Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) Sardar Shailendra Singh at his residence.
Anil Modi�s discussion with Shailendra Singh centred on the present political scenario in the country and constructive and developmental projects being undertaken by the Modi government. He requested support for the NDA candidate from the Jamshedpur LS seat Bidyut Baran Mahto so that the candidate won the election with a handsome margin.
Sardar Shailendra Singh observed that parliamentarian Bidyut Baran Mahto had done tremendous work in his constituency and that showed his dedication to social concerns. �He (Bidyut Baran Mahto) has been responsible for the implementation of several constructive developmental activities during his successful tenure as MP. It was because of his persistence that the Jugsalai over bridge and the airport at Chakulia are about to see the light of day. Mahtoji played a lead role in ensuring a pantry car in the Jallianwala Bag Express,� stated Singh.
He assured total support to the NDA candidate. Senior vice president of CGPC Narendra Pal Singh was also present during the discussions.
Prakash Joshi, Nagendra Pandey, Arvind Mishra, Ravindra Singh Bhatia and Vishnu Sonekar accompanied Anil Modi on the occasion.
