2nd Hockey India Junior Men Academy National Championship
Jamshedpur, April 22: Naval Tata Hockey Academy continued its unbeaten run at the 2nd Hockey India Junior Men Academy National Championship 2022 by registering 4-1 win over V. Raja Hockey Academy at the Naval Tata Hockey Academy ground in Telco on Friday, April 22.
Third day of the national championship saw six matches played between 12 teams.
The first match played on Friday saw Namdhari XI beat Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy by 5-3.

The second match on the third day resulted in a score of 22-0 in favour of SAIL Hockey Academy against Jai Bharat Hockey Academy.
The third match of the day played between SAI Academy and Hubli Hockey Academy. SAI Academy registered a thumping win as they crushed Hubli by 16-1.
Army Boys Sports Company in a one sided match defeated Malwa Hockey Academy 16-1.
The sixth and final match of the third day played between Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy and Berar Hockey Academy saw the former winning with a 5-2 lead.
The championship is being held in association with Hockey India at the Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA), Jamshedpur.

The championship will be conducted from April 20 to May 1, 2022. Thirty one teams comprising 550+ players and officials from Hockey India are participating.

Over 100 coaches and training staff, including renowned Olympians like Sameer Daad, Olympian and Arjuna Awardee from Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy, and Rajender Singh from Round Glass Punjab Hockey Academy are also part of the national championship.
