Jamshedpur: Narbheram Kamani’s daughter-in-law Kusumben passes away, NHES pays tribute

Jamshedpur, Aug 18: Kusumben Dharamchand Kamani, wife of Late Dharamchand Kamani left on her heavenly sojourn on 18th August, 2022.

She was born in Rajkot, Gujarat on 6th September 1930 in the famous Virani family. Kusumben married Late Dharamchand Kamani, son of Narbheram Kamani.

She moved to Jamshedpur at the tender age of 21. She had three children, Rupa, Nakul, and Killol. When she was only 39 she lost her husband.

Her father in law, Narbheram Kamani under his able guidance trained her to run the ventures smoothly. She took over as the Managing Director of Steel City Beverages Private Limited which was franchise bottler of Coca-Cola and Fanta products under the Coca-Cola Company umbrella. She managed to run the business for a number of years before her sons grew up and took over.

Kusumben’s son Nakul Kamani is the President of Narbheram Hansraj English School Management Committee.

School also paid rich tributes to the departed soul.

She raised and nurtured her children affectionately. She also imparted values which helped them to become confident, responsible and resilient. Her religious beliefs were deeply rooted in Jainism.

For the last twenty odd years of her life, she was focused solely on religion and self-development. She will be remembered for her business acumen, her philanthropy, and for the strong character she evolved into after the loss of her husband at such a tender age.
