Jamshedpur, July 2: The Gamharia unit of Jharkhand Kshatriya Sangh (JKS) expressed grief over the murder of Kanhaiya Singh, brother-in-law of former MLA Arvind Singh and demanded immediate arrest of the assailants failing which they would be forced to launch a violent stir. JKS members expressed disappointment and anger on the district and police administrations’ failure to nab the koillers even after the lapse of 48 hours. JKS Gamharia unit President, Santosh Singh while chairing the meeting said, “Jharkhand Kshatriya Sangh strongly condemns the district administration of Saraikela-Kharsawan for the laxity that has seen to the rise of criminal activities includeing theft and murder in a span of six to seven months. Sale of brown sugar is on an upswing and being openly sold. In fact, the addiction of brown sugar is the cause of the prevailing criminal activities. But the district and police administrations prefer to look the other way.”
Santosh Singh, echoing the feelings and sentiments of JKS members warned that if the killers of Kanhaiya Singh were not arrested without further delay, the members would be forced to initiate violent protests against the ineptness of the district administration.
Many members including Bhagwan Singh, Vinod Singh, Pramod Singh, Virendra Singh, Arvind Singh, Chhotan Singh, Suresh Singh, Chandra Bhushan Singh, Sunil Singh, Pankaj Singh, Raghavendra Singh, Anay Singh and Kamlesh Singh were present in the meeting.
