Ghatshila, August 1: Jamshedpur Lok Sabha MP Bidyut Baran Mahato met Union Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Thursday urged him for the reopening of Hindustan Copper Limited’s smelter plant and various mines in Musabani.
In a memorandum handed to the Mining Minister, Bidyut Baran Mahto specifically requested the reopening of Hindustan Copper Limited’s Dhobani, Kishangarhia, and Pathargada mines. He also urged the Minister to restart the smelter plant at Maubhandar.
Accompanying MP Mahato during the meeting were senior BJP leaders Dinesh Sahu, Haradhan Singh, and others.
