Jamshedpur MP suggests corporate help to meet infrastructure gaps

Jamshedpur, May 11: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato  during virtual interaction with  chief minister Hemant Soren expressed concern at the less number of oxygen supported beds and ventilators especially in the rural pockets of his Parliamentary constituency  and suggested that other corporate sectors help  should be sought for increasing oxygen supported bed and ventilators. 

MP also suggested for opening vaccination centre at community halls so that more number of rural population gets vaccinated. 

The MP also raised issue of Baharagora where large number of doctors, nurse and parademics have become positive and there is severe shortage of trained manpower and suggested that outsource personnel whose service was discontinued they should be reinstated and also suggested for taking help of medical students and retired doctors and nurses. 

He also said that the Surda lease issue should be resolved and the mines resumed as people are facing difficult times owing to economic crisis during lockdown. He also stressed on abiding with Covid guidelines in rural areas during social customs and village haats. He also suggested that panchayat representatives, traditional village heads like manki, munda, majhi, mahal should be taken into confidence in the fight against Covid.
