Jamshedpur MLA Saryu visits jail to meet BJP Abhay Singh arrested in violence case

Jamshedpur, April 18: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy paid a visit to a jail to meet BJP leader Abhay Singh, who has been jailed in connection with communal violence. The visit has sparked controversy and raised eyebrows among political circles and the general public alike. Roy had left the saffron party and floated his own political outfit Bhartiya Jan Morcha.

Roy, who is known for his vocal support of the party’s ideology, arrived at the jail premises amid tight security. He was accompanied by a group of party workers who raised slogans in support of the jailed leader. Singh has been charged with instigating communal violence that erupted at Kadma, resulting in several injuries and property damage.

Roy, while addressing the media outside the jail, defended his visit and claimed that Singh was being falsely implicated in the case due to political vendetta. He stated that he stands by him and will leave no stone unturned to ensure their release. He further accused the opposition parties of trying to malign the image of the leader by targeting its leaders with false allegations.

However, the opposition parties, including the JMM have accused the BJP of promoting communalism and supporting leaders involved in violent activities. They demanded a thorough investigation into the communal violence incident and called for strict action against those responsible, regardless of their political affiliations.

The incident has also caused a stir among the public, with many expressing their concerns over the growing trend of politicians supporting leaders accused of communal violence. Social media platforms have been flooded with discussions and debates on the issue, with people expressing mixed opinions.
