Jamshedpur MLA Saryu efforts paves way for power substation in Jamshedpur’s Sidhgora 

Jamshedpur, August 28: . With the efforts of Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Rai, the work of providing electricity through Tata Steel UISL (formerly JUSCO) in the Tata lease area and other adjacent settlements is going on continuously.

In this sequence, a team of officials from Tata Steel UISL inspected the Bagunhatu area on Monday for the construction of a central power sub-station to provide electricity in the Bagunhatu area. The site has been identified after inspection.

A letter will be written to the District Additional Deputy Commissioner to get the land transferred from the government. Keeping in view the requirement of increasing population in the near future, there is a plan to transfer additional land so that more power sub-stations can be constructed as per the requirement in future.

MLA Saryu Rai had talked about providing electricity connection to the people of Bagunhatu soon in the meeting of the committee formed to provide electricity connection of Tata Steel UISL to the residents of Tata lease area and other settlements adjacent to it. For this, he also handed over the applications received from the residents for electricity connections to the General Manager of Tata Steel UISL and instructed to take action on it as soon as possible. The officials of Tata Steel UISL had prepared a survey team for the site inspection and network feasibility survey for sub-station construction.
