Jamshedpur MLA lays foundation for six development projects worth in Birsanagar

Jamshedpur: In a continued effort to strengthen infrastructure and improve civic amenities, Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu on Saturday laid the foundation stone for six development schemes totaling over Rs 34 lakh in the Birsanagar Mandal area. The projects have been sanctioned under the MLA Local Area Development Fund, focusing primarily on road and drainage improvements to enhance public convenience in key residential zones.

The foundation stone-laying ceremony witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, women, and BJP workers, creating a vibrant atmosphere as the MLA assured her continued commitment to development in every street and locality.

While addressing the gathering, MLA Purnima Sahu emphasized that ensuring basic infrastructure such as roads, drains, drainage systems, and cleanliness in every neighborhood is her top priority. She affirmed her commitment to the holistic development of the constituency and assured that no problem would be ignored.

“We have not only initiated work today but also identified several other urgent needs of the people in the Mandal area. These projects will begin soon to address all developmental gaps,” she said.

She added that her focus remains on delivering timely and effective development and that every locality under the Jamshedpur East constituency will witness visible improvements under her leadership.

The event saw a strong show of support from both the community and party workers. MLA representative Gunjan Yadav, Mandal President Bablu Gope, and several senior BJP leaders and local influencers were present to mark the occasion.

A significant number of local women leaders, including Urmila Das, Sushila Sahu, Krishna Paswan, Mamta Bhumij, and Chitralekha, were also present, demonstrating widespread support for the initiatives.
