Jamshedpur minor rape case: Police approach FSL for narco test of accused

Accused give consent for undergoing tests

Jamshedpur, March 9 : City police have approached more forensic science laboratories (FSL) in the country seeking date for brain mapping and narco analysis test of the three accused in the minor rape case of Mango.The places that have been approached by the police are FSL Hyderabad,FSL Gandhinagar and FSL Bangalore.

Superintendent of police (City) Prabhat Kumar said that they have written to the FSLs after getting the nod in formal way on Thursday.

“We have shot letter seeking dates for the brain mapping and narco analysis test in all the three FSLs.We will choose the FSL from which we will get the offer first,” said Kumar.

The three accused who have given their consent for undergoing the brain mapping and narco analysis test are Indrapal Singh Saini, Shiv Kumar Mahto and Srikant, who are presently lodged in Ghaghidih Central Jail.

” As per our plans we are subjecting all the three accused for this scientific test our focus will be on Indrapal Singh Saini. Because we understand from investigation of the case that it is Saini who is suspected to be involved in the whole case majorly,” said the officer on condition of anonymity.

The inspector general (Ranchi zone) Naveen Kumar Singh who is monitoring the case ordered for a brain mapping and narco analysis test. Meanwhile, Nanak accompanied the victim girl had on Thursday met the IG, Naveen Kumar Singh to give him updates.

The rape case became sensational as the victim had later revealed about two cops also to have raped her beside several others. The cops, former OC of MGM thanaImdad Ansari and deputy superintendent of police (Patamda) Ajay Kerketta.

The 17-year-old girl who worked as a maid in the house of a businessman at Sahara City was raped by three persons.

As the matter came to the notice of the house owner, Nanak Chandra Seth, he made the victim’s mother, who is a resident of Kawali in Potka block to lodged an FIR against three with the Mango police station on January 19.

The police had registered a case of rape and POCSO Act against three persons with the Mango thana for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl who works as a maid at the house of Nanak Chandra Seth, a businessman at Sahara City in Mango during the past two years.

The accused Indrapal Singh Saini, Shiv Kumar Mahto and Srikant alias Santosh used to rape the minor by blackmailing her on the basis of a clipping of an obscene act with her.
