Jamshedpur, Sept 2: On Saturday, Baharagora MLA Sameer Mahanty held a meeting regarding dengue in the CHC premises of Chakulia block.
The MLA asked health workers to work on a war footing to prevent the effects of rising dengue. He suggested to form a team and run an awareness campaign against dengue by spreading publicity in the affected villages. All doctors in CHC should do duty according to their time.
In the meeting, the medical officer in charge gave information about the development works done in the hospital. He said that CHC has received four ACs from the district. CHC’s ambulance is in a dilapidated condition. Due to this, we are facing a lot of problems in bringing patients. The MLA instructed for repair of the ambulance. The MLA assured to provide a hearse vehicle to the CHC soon and to make a motor available in view of the water problem in the CHC.
