Jamshedpur may witness rain and thunder during Holi

Jamshedpur, March 6: The Meteorological Centre at Ranchi has predicted rains during Holi in Jamshedpur and other parts of Jharkhand. According to weather scientist Abhishek Anand, “Rain is expected to lash most part of the state from Tuesday to Friday. On Tuesday, rain will be witnessed in the western parts of the state. Medium and light rain is expected. Yellow alert has been issued by the department. On 8th March, thundering and lightning will be witnessed.”

On 9th March, partial rains and thundering may be witnessed in the north-eastern, southern and central parts of Jharkhand. Due to western disturbance in the oceans, the weather is changing, sources said. On Sunday last, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 37.4 degree Celsius.
