Jamshedpur, Jan 23: For Vivek Kumar, a talented artist from Syndicate Colony, Adityapur, a recent visit to Vrindavan turned into a deeply spiritual and unforgettable experience.
On the evening of January 20, Vivek met renowned saint Premanand Maharaj and presented him with a magnificent portrait crafted from 1.51 lakh pearls, using five carefully chosen colours.
The pearl artwork, a symbol of devotion and dedication, took nearly two months of meticulous effort to complete.
Vivek shared that the moment he had darshan of Premanand Maharaj, all his fatigue seemed to vanish instantly.
In a rare and touching gesture, the saint himself placed the final pearl on the portrait at Vivek’s request, completing the artwork before accepting it with affection.
Premanand Maharaj was visibly delighted on seeing the portrait.
Blessing the young artist, he expressed his wish for Vivek to create a portrait of Radha Rani in the future and said he would eagerly await it.
Inspired by the blessings, Vivek said he now plans to create a grand Radha-Krishna artwork using nearly five lakh pearls and present it to the saint soon.
This is not the first time Vivek Kumar has amazed people with his unique art. Earlier, he created a massive rangoli portrait of industrialist Ratan Tata at Jubilee Park, Jamshedpur.
He also holds a world record for creating the largest rangoli image of Lord Ram at the Birla Temple in Golmuri, Jamshedpur—an achievement that earned him a place in the World Book of Records.
