Jamshedpur man exploits woman, deserts her after abortion

Jamshedpur, April 28: An Olidih-based woman accused Gautam Gorai, an employee of Tata Steel, of exploiting her physically in the name of marriage and forcing her to undergo abortion. She complained to the SSP of Jamshedpur in this regard on Thursday.

According to the woman, Gautam, resident of Road No 1, Sankosai under Olidih police station area, had persuaded her to elope with him in October last year from her village and taken her to a rented accommodation. When she became pregnant, she said, the accused forced her to undergo abortion while promising to marry her afterwards. But later, the accused refused to marry her and reportedly escaped from his house with another woman.
