Jamshedpur, Jan 22: One Ajit Kumar Singh of Parsudih lost Rs 1 lakh to cyber frauds on 20th January last. The accused persons reportedly asked him to deposit the premium of a scheme of Max Life Insurance. Three phones calls were made to the victim. After the amount was deducted from the bank account of the victim, he realized that he had been cheated. He approached Parsudih police station and lodged an FIR against the anonymous callers. Police said they were investigating the matter.
