Jamshedpur: Man cheats relative of Rs 10 lakh

Jamshedpur, March 22: Police here on Tuesday arrested one Jai Prakash of Bihar from Govindpur police station area for allegedly defrauding one of his relatives of Rs 10 lakh, sources said.

Sources said the accused was arrested from the city on the basis of a tip-off. A warrant of arrest was issued against the accused by a court. City police was preparing to go to Bihar to arrest Jai Prakash, sources said.

Jai Prakash had reportedly taken Rs 10 lakh from his relative and later failed to return the money. He was absconding for the last two years, cops said.
