Jamshedpur, Sep 27: At a time when some countries are busy at war, PM Modi’s message of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ is giving the message of communal harmony, brotherhood and peaceful coexistence. It shows that the real strength of our country comes from unity in diversity. This was observed by the BJP national vice president and former Chief Minister Raghubar Das during the inauguration of the Durga Puja pandal of Jairam Youth Sporting Club at Adityapur on Monday evening.

After inaugurating the pandal on the first day of Navratra, Das praised Jairam Youth Sporting Club for organizing the puja on the theme of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ which is a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. He said the unique theme of the pandal gave the message of peace, unity and diversity and patriotism.

He said the statue of Lord Buddha presented an epitome of eternal peace. He further said that Jharkhand was a state richly endowed with mineral resources and that he prayed to Goddess Durga to bless the state and remove poverty plaguing it. Das was all praise for the former Ichagarh MLA cum patron of Jairam Youth Sporting Club, Arvind Singh, for his conceptualization of this year’s puja pandal theme. He said the pandal decoration was also in tune with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.

Arvind Singh welcomed the ex-CM and praised him for the achievements of his erstwhile government. Kharsawan MLA Dashrath Gagrai was also invited to the inaugural function. He termed the pandal’s theme and design as unique and awe-provoking. His wife Basanti Gagrai, puja committee patron AK Srivastava and many other dignitaries were also present during the inauguration.

A group of women played dhaki to invoke Goddess Durga during the inaugural function. Aarati was also performed through a captivating dance and musical rendition on this occasion.
