Jamshedpur, Oct 25: A major fire broke out at a storehouse on the premises of Shyam Talkies building in Parsudih on Tuesday. Several fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
Sources said fire engulfed plastic items kept on the building premises and destroyed most of it within a short span. The fire started at 9 pm and soon spread to the entire storehouse which belongs to Deen Dayal Prasad.
Police said the cause of fire could not be immediately known. Short circuit could be one of the causes, they said while not ruling out the possibility of firecrackers leading to the mishap.
