Jamshedpur: Loyola School Telco gets CISCE affiliation

Jamshedpur, July 19:  Loyola School Telco has received recognition from the CISCE Board. Father Gerry, the administrator of Loyola School Telco, announced this development during a press conference held on Friday at the school premises.

Father Gerry informed that Loyola School Telco was granted the U-DISE code and received RTE recognition in December 2022. Following this, the Jharkhand government issued a no-objection certificate (NOC) to the school for Board affiliation within two months. Kumud Sahay, the then Joint Secretary of the School Education and Literacy Department of Jharkhand, confirmed in a letter to the CISCE Board that the state government had no objections to Loyola School in the River View Area of Telco receiving board affiliation.

Subsequently, the school’s management completed all necessary documentation and applied online for CISCE Board affiliation. A two-member team visited the school for physical verification of the premises and documents. After reviewing the inspection report, the CISCE Board’s affiliation department granted final affiliation to the school on July 18. Students can now register with Loyola School to take Board exams.

Loyola School Telco was established in 2015 and currently offered classes from nursery to ninth grade, with 1,530 students enrolled. Since the 2022-2023 session the school is being governed by Loyola Jamshedpur (Bistupur).

Administrator Father Gerry highlighted that Jesuit schools had always been known for providing the best academic environment, with a strong emphasis on quality education.
