Jamshedpur, Jan 13: Noted litterateur and critic Khagendra Thakur (83) passed away on Monday. His death sent a wave of mourning in the literary circles of Jamshedpur. He was associated with Pragatisheel Lekhak Sangh. His death was condoled by noted city-based writers Jaynandan, Shashi Kumar, Vijay Sharma and Ashutosh Kumar. He was born on 9th September 1937 in Godda. He was not keeping well for the last few months and had to be hospitalized at AIIMS, Patna. A condolence meet has been called at Sakchi tomorrow.
