Jamshedpur Lions Femina’s awareness drive against drug addiction

Jamshedpur, May 7: Lions Club of Jamshedpur Femina launched awareness drive against drug addiction at Bal Gyan Peeth High School on Saturday, May 7.

Senior club member cum District Chairperson Sunita Singh said, “Addiction to drugs is now recognised globally as one of the real dangers, which the world faces. It is very important for our youth to understand that it damages the individual and society very silently.”

Singh informed the students about ill effects of drug addiction and also gave valuable insights on how we can protect ourselves from being addicted to any kind of drugs.

40 girls and 10 teachers of the school were present during the session.

Club President and Zonal Chairperson Sarika Singh, Secretary Suchitra Rungta, Treasurer  Abha Rungta, Co-Treasurer P. Pushpalata and Pooja Rani were also present.
