Rudra Adesara of DBMS English School is a wonder kid with amazing memory power
Jamshedpur, June 16: In a world where geographical knowledge is becoming increasingly important, a Jamshedpur-based child prodigy has emerged as a remarkable example of a kid with an exceptional talent for geography. Meet 4.5-year-old Rudra Adesara, who has amazed the city with his ability to recall the name of every country’s capital and its location on the map. His astonishing memory to observe and remember 195 countries.
Ask him the name of any country and its neighbouring countries, Rudra would blink for a moment, imagine their location in the map and effortlessly tell you the names. If you are not impressed, then go on and ask him a country’s capital or identify the flag. He will not disappoint you.
A KG student of DBMS English School, Rudra’s fascination with geography started last year, when he would spend hours playing with a puzzle based on maps of different countries. His parents, Kauhsal and Sonali Adesara soon realised that he had an extraordinary talent and decided to encourage him by providing him with globes and other resources to fuel his passion for the subject.

Despite being only 4 years old, Rudra can now identify the capital city and location of every country in the world. His encyclopedic knowledge of geography has earned him acclaim, with many people hailing him as a child prodigy. He can not only name but also identify more than 190 countries along with their flags on the world map.
Rudra is equally good in his academics too. He was recently felicitated at the annual prize night of DBMS English School for his academic performance.
Speaking about his talent, his mother Sonali, said, ” I vividly remember how one day we brought him a puzzle based on world maps and while playing he started understanding the world better. Today he is able to identify even more than 195 countries, their maps and capitals too. I hope Rudra will inspire other children too, to learn about geography and explore the world around them.”
Overall, Rudra’s remarkable talent for geography is a testament to the power of passion and dedication. His example inspires us to pursue our interests and talents with enthusiasm and to explore the world around us with curiosity and wonder.
When contacted, Rajani Shekhar, principal, DBMS English School said: “Every child is unique and special, but some have gifts that leave us in awe. Rudra Adesara is one such student who is blessed with incredible talent and memory power. Watching him effortlessly recall names of countries and capitals and their flags is truly inspiring. However, what’s even more impressive is the hard work, dedication, and passion that the parents put into their learning. As educators, it’s our privilege and responsibility to nurture and support such talents, and to help every child reach their full potential. We look forward to witnessing his bright future,”
