Jamshedpur, Dec 21: Raising expectations and then rolling down the ladder is one of the disappointment that sports person have contain with. Legendary Cricketer Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar’s son, Arjun shifted his Mumbai base to Goa and the move paid off. He immediately got his initial deko. Coming out to bat at no. 6 Arjun scored a centuary in his first appearance setting the mercury of expectations spiraling high. Cricket crazy fans of the Steel City crowded Keenan Stadium to see Arjun Tendulkar in action but over the two days of play so far it has been an essay in disappointment with the leather and willow as he recorded a single wicket that cost him 90 runs in 26 overs.

Arjun Tendulkar, who was wicketless on Day 1, picked up the wicket of Shahbaz Nadeem, getting him bowled for 25.
With the bat he was nowhere near his first Ranji form as he could scratch only a single run of 14 deliveries faced. But then, cricket is a game of cross fingers and fans hope that there is a turnaround for Tendulkar junior as there are two more days to go.

Meanwhile, Jharkhand had Goa in trouble on Day 2 of their Ranji Trophy match at the Keenan Stadium. Kumar Kushagra missed out on a hundred by just 4 runs as the wicketkeeper-batter top-scored for Jharkhand who posted 386 in their first innings.
Goa were 99 for 4 at stumps on day 2 tnrailing Jharkhand by 287 runs.
